With Bluetooth Communication enabled via the Greenlee Gator Eye app, the EK425LX features an LED display screen that communicates pressure and battery levels, as well as tool diagnostics with real-time feedback. This crimping tool is operated with one hand, allowing the other hand to be free to position the cable and connector. The in-line tool style is lightweight and easy to control, with crimping jaws that open wide to fit easily over connectors.

To assist in preparation for a crimp, the jaws can be jogged closed until they just grip the connector, enabling the operator to position the cable before completing the crimp. The EK425LX can complete about 325 crimps per battery charge on 4/0 AWG splices. When a crimp is fully executed, the EK425LX automatically opens the jaws to signal the operator to begin the next crimp. If the crimping jaws need to be opened before completion, the operator can simply push a button on the back of the tool.

The Intelligent Crimping System Technology includes a pressure sensor that monitors the crimping force of each crimp, providing the operator with a visual and audible alert if the force is below specifications. The crimping capacity includes various connectors and taps, such as 10-1/0 AWG connectors and 6-4/0 AWG Aluminum H Taps.

Included with the EK425LX are a case, two batteries, and a 120V charger. The crimping head rotates 350 degrees, and an LED work light helps illuminate dark work areas. With one-button operation and Bluetooth functionality, this crimping tool offers convenience and efficiency for various applications.
