The ET270 offers a wide range of features, including measuring AC/DC voltage up to 600V and 40MOhms resistance. It also includes audible continuity, battery test, and receptacle test modes. The receptacle test mode is particularly useful for detecting common wiring faults, ensuring electrical safety and proper functionality of GFCI receptacles.

With a trip time display, the LCD readout shows the time required to trip a GFCI device, allowing for quick and accurate troubleshooting. Other convenient options include a battery test feature for checking 9V and 1.5V battery functionality, as well as a find mode that easily identifies circuit breakers to a corresponding receptacle.

The backlit display provides clear readings in low-light conditions for enhanced visibility, while additional features such as test lead holders on the back of the meter, a kickstand, and an optional magnetic hanger (Cat. Nos. 69445 or 69417) ensure hands-free operation. The complete package includes a carrying case, test leads with CAT III/CAT IV safety caps, receptacle test cord, instructions, and 2 x AAA batteries.
