The Greenlee 722 cutter is specifically designed to cut small-diameter steel wire and wire rope, including aircraft cable. The blades are forged from steel and hardened to efficiently cut through steel material. Measuring less than 8 inches (200 mm) in length and weighing only 3/4 Pound (0.34 kg), the Greenlee 722 cutter is compact and lightweight, making it convenient to use and easy to store in a tool pouch.

This cutter can handle a variety of materials, including soft wire rope up to 1/4 inch (6mm), aircraft cable up to 3/16 inch (5mm), hard steel wire up to 3/32 inch (2.4mm), and copper/aluminum cable up to 15/64 inch (6mm). Its heavy-duty forged steel blades and handles ensure durability and longevity. The blades are heat-treated, precision ground, and equipped with shear action cutting for efficient performance. Additionally, the Greenlee 722 cutter features cushioned handle grips for added comfort during use.
