Equipped with Bluetooth communication enabled via the Greenlee Gator Eye app, the EK6IDL features an LED display screen that communicates pressure, battery levels, and tool diagnostics in real-time. The dual stage telescopic cylinder consists of two individual pistons: a large exterior piston and a small interior piston. The small interior piston transmits a force of 30kN and has two functions - fixing cable lugs and connectors in position before crimping, and crimping smaller cross sections up to 1/0 AWG. The large exterior piston transmits a force of 60kN and crimps larger cross sections.

Managed by Intelli-Crimp, the variable 30kN/60kN cylinder ensures optimal crimp performance regardless of the cross section. The EK6IDL has an extremely large crimp range, accommodating copper material from 8 AWG to 500 MCM and aluminum material from 1/0 AWG to 350 MCM. Its compact design, low weight, and heavy-duty performance make it a reliable tool in the Greenlee Gator line.

The EK6IDL includes a pressure sensor for electronic control of the crimping operation, automatic retraction (ARS), and single trigger operation for ease of use. The tool also features extreme accountability with clear marking of crimped connectors for subsequent control. Intelli-Crimp technology measures pressure and amperage 32 times per second, ensuring precise crimping.

Compatible with Gator Eye, the EK6IDL comes with a case, two batteries, and a 120V charger. It is the lightest indenting tool on the market, making it ideal for use in tight spaces. The tool's two-stage telescopic design identifies the correct pressure to apply, while its flip-top style allows for easy removal from the connector using a pull pin.
